My Sunset
I walk alone on the barron beach,

	Yet two shadows trail.

My eyes on the goal I am to reach,

With His help I will prevail.

Footprints lie before me, to lead the way.

	A few continue straight,

But most, into the ocean stray.

I continue on, watching for the gate.

I am not the first to trod these sands,

For which my Companion charts the course,

Completely confident I'm in good hands,

	I follow. I continue forth.

For my choice, I harbor no regret.

I continue my journey, toward my sunset.
